The count has finished and Labour have taken back control of Telford & Wrekin Council quite spectacularly, winning control of 33 seats out of 54.
The UKIP vote increased in every seat previously contested but sadly Denis Allen has lost his borough council seat in Wellington (Denis was in the TAWPA group but stood as UKIP this time). The count for Wellington Town Council for which Denis is also a councillor will take place later this morning.
