Cllr Ray Knight addresses concerns about T-Live noise pollution

Cllr Ray KnightUKIP parish councillor for Randlay & Hollinswood, Ray Knight, has raised residents’ concerns about noise pollution during the T-Live concert with Telford & Wrekin.

T-Live will be held in Telford Town Park on 7th September and is being headlined by McFly.  Thousands of people are expected at the park and residents in Hollinswood and Randlay have voiced concerns about noise from the concert and visitors.  The car parks that will be used by concert-goers are located close to houses in both estates.

Cllr Knight wrote to the Arts & Culture team at the borough council asking for reassurances that noise pollution wouldn’t be a problem and has been assured that Environmental Health officers will be present during the concert to ensure that noise levels are kept to an appropriate level and that an outside production company is being used to ensure that the stage is located in the best place to minimise the effect on nearby residential areas.

If residents have any more concerns about the concert please contact Cllr Ray Knight.
