Cllr Stuart Parr

Cllr Stuart ParrStuart Parr is a UKIP councillor for the Brookside ward of Stirchley & Brookside Parish.

He lived in Brookside as a young child until his family moved to Much Wenlock where he grew up until moving back to Brookside  years ago when he met his wife.

Stuart has 4 children, the eldest three of which go to the Thomas Telford School and Madeley Academy, whilst the youngest goes to the Windmill School in Brookside.  He works for a local IT company.

Stuart is a member of the residents’ group, Brookside Improvement Group and is a member of the Brookside Big Local steering group which is responsible for consulting with residents on how to spend a million pound lottery fund for the benefit of the estate. He is also Vice Chair of the Stirchley & Brookside Neighbourhood Plan committee which is a resident-led group tasked with writing a statutory neighbourhood plan that will guide future development in the parish.

Stuart is Chair of the parish council’s Personnel Committee and sits on the Neighbourhood Services, Planning, Policy & Resources and Emergency Committees.
